Prayer routes

Prayer Activity in St Giles’

Prayer, both individual and collective, is the best way to keep close to God.  At St Giles we offer help with prayer in a range of different ways.  We offer:

  • Confidential prayer ministry after each 9.45 service; members of our prayer ministry team pray in the prayer room with anyone who would like it. Just go to the prayer room at the end of the service.
  • Private, confidential prayer by our team of intercessors at home for anyone and any need. Please go to the prayer room and write your prayers on a post it note and pin it on the board there….or ask/email me, Anne Whitlam, to help.
  • Public prayer by the congregation for individuals as part of our weekly services. Please ask me or the Rector for this.
  • Prayers and candle lighting for anyone who “drops in” to our Listening sessions on Saturday mornings between 10.30 and 12.30 and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm.

If you need any other kind of help with prayer, please ask me and I will do my best to help.
