Welcome to the IGNITE Ickenham Youth Community!
My name is Simon White and I’m part time Youth Worker at St. Giles’. I’ve been involved in the IGNITE project since it began as a member of the steering group and as a leader in the Sunday groups, and then as Youth Worker. I’m also a member of the congregation at St. Giles’ and I am part of the Worship Band.
It’s not just me though – there are some amazing and dedicated leaders* who help to run the activities. We have our own IGNITE Room upstairs in St Giles’ Church Hall.
The IGNITE Youth Community is for 11-18 year olds (Y7+) in the Ickenham area. The two groups are listed below – you can find out more about them under their individual pages.
NEON
What? Meet friends, make friends, play games, try activities, hang out, have fun!
When? Friday evenings 7.30 to 9.30 pm.
Where? St Giles’ Hall – the IGNITE Room and the rest of the hall.

IGNITE a.m.
What? A laid back start to Sundays including discussion and time to think + games, videos etc.
When? Sunday mornings 9.45 to approx. 11.00 am apart from the first Sunday in the month when we join the rest of the church for the All Age Service.
Where? IGNITE Room, St Giles’ Hall.
