Ickermen is a venture which began in September 2012. We aim to give mutual encouragement and support to live up to the challenge of being men of God at work, at home, at church and in the community.
We have a varied programme of activities – contact Glyn James and Keith Arnold via the church office email: email@example.com to find out more.
Our quarterly breakfasts for men provide a great opportunity to chat over breakfast and then listen to an engaging speaker talking about some aspect of Christian faith and living. We have a great crowd of over 50 regulars, but there’s always room to welcome newcomers. Held alternately at St Giles’ Church Hall and Ickenham United Reformed Church Hall, breakfast begins at 8.30 am and finish by 10.00 am. We normally serve a continental breakfast, but occasionally offer a full English cooked breakfast costing between £3-£6 accordingly.
Dates and venues are published in the Ickenham Church News and both church News Sheets.
The next Men’s Breakfast is on Saturday 14th April 2018 and will be held in St Giles’ Church Hall, starting at 8:30am. The speaker is Ian Knight and the title of his talk is “Who were the Corinthians to whom the Apostle Paul addressed his letters?”. A continental breakfast will be served and the cost is £4. Tickets on the door.
